Young Adults

St. Margaret Mary Young Adults (ages 21-39) have three main reasons for getting “organized”.
  1. We are convinced that a spiritual connection, that basic connection with each other through the person of Jesus Christ, is the ground upon which we want to build our lives. We want to nurture our spirituality.
  2. In that Spirit, we want to embrace the troubles and challenges of our world, our community, and especially of all people our age. We want to promote justice and peace.
  3. In that Light, we are eager to be with people who appreciate and celebrate differences as well as similarities. We want to enjoy life in community.

Young Catholic Professionals chapter in Omaha, spreading the message of “Working in Witness for Christ.”

Come to YCP Omaha’s August Executive Speaker Series! Jennifer Baugh will be giving her presentation on Calling Hearts to Witness. This event is co-hosted by the Omaha Legatus Chapter and will be a great opportunity to network with local Catholic business leaders. There is no cost to attend this event, however, there is limited seating available since a full, sit-down dinner will be provided. Jennifer is the Founder and Executive Director of Young Catholic Professionals (YCP), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to ‘Work in Witness for Christ’. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from Trinity University and her MBA from Texas A&M, graduating summa cum laude. Jennifer worked for Merrill Lynch in the Global Wealth Management practice and for FTI Consulting in the Corporate Restructuring practice before starting the YCP ministry in 2010. Jennifer has been interviewed on EWTN’s “Life on the Rock”, National Catholic Register, Word on Fire and several other international media outlets promoting the YCP apostolate.

As a national organization, YCP membership consists of young adults in their 20s and 30s, single and married, who are highly motivated to achieve personal and professional success while seeking a greater understanding of their Catholic faith. We also welcome professionals who may not be Catholic, but are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. Members benefit from access to exclusive networking events, executive speaking events across a variety of industries, spiritual direction, executive mentors, panel discussions, monthly newsletters, and more.
