YCP Speaker Series: Reproductive Health and Your Catholic Faith
Join Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) on Tuesday, Sept. 19, for an important and intriguing discussion: Reproductive Health and Your Catholic Faith.
Teresa Kenney is a women’s health nurse practitioner who has been practicing at Pope Paul VI Institute for 17 years. She was born and raised in Omaha and went to the UNMC College of Nursing and received her nurse practitioner degree. She is a certified medical consultant practicing the new reproductive health science developed by Dr. Thomas Hilgers called Naprotechnology. She publishes a newsletter online called Fertility Care for Young Women which is designed to educate young women about health issues and the gift of their fertility. She is a member of the American Academy of Fertility Care professionals and taught the Creighton Model Fertility System as a fertility care practitioner for 7 years. Teresa and her husband Daniel have been married for 17 years and have eight children. Teresa frequently speaks to groups at Churches, high schools and other events promoting Naprotechnology and fertility Awareness and appreciation to women and men of all ages. She also works part time for Sancta Familia Medical Apostolate, a new Catholic health care center in Omaha, providing women’s health and fertility care services.
